
Shakshuka with biltong
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons of olive oil
1 medium onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1 red pepper, cut into small cubes
4 ripe tomatoes, chopped (or a can of crushed tomatoes)
1 tablespoon tomato paste
1 teaspoon sweet paprika
Half a teaspoon of cumin
Salt and pepper to taste
4 eggs
50 grams of biltong, cut into small pieces
Fresh cilantro for garnish

Make "dimples" in the sauce and break the eggs into the contents. Cover the pan and cook over low heat for about 5-7 minutes, until the eggs are set to taste.
Sprinkle fresh cilantro on top and serve immediately with fresh bread or challah.

Add the tomatoes, tomato paste and spices. Mix well, and lower the heat. Cook for about 10 minutes, until the sauce thickens.
Stir in the biltong, keeping the pieces intact.

Heat the olive oil in a wide pan over medium heat. Fry the onion until it is transparent.
Add the garlic and red pepper, and fry for another 2 minutes.
